Metropole Reconstruction
The Metropole Building was built before the fire of 1889 and survived. In 2007, the G.O.Guy drugstore in the lower corner of the building was severely damaged by fire, and KJ was called in to rebuild that section, as well as reconstruct other areas of the building that had collapsed previous to the drugstore fire. The project has grown to include the renovation of the entire building, which has been approved by the Pioneer Square Preservation Board.
