The Local Vine

How to disguise a 10-ton ceiling mounted heat exchanger and still take advantage of the voluminous interior space?  BCJ architects designed an exciting  paneling system that snaked up the walls and intersected at different planes on the ceiling.

As with most restaurant projects, the value engineering process on The Local Vine stretched from preconstruction through project completion.   Success in this case was due to the willingness of the owners allow the team to really "work" the design to meet budget expectations and preserve desired program elements.
